The beautiful city of Ziarat, which is also the capital of
Balochistan province, consists of forests and beautiful border hills Ziarat, a
monumental and historical tourist destination, is a favourite tourist
destination as it is located just two hours away from Quetta.
History of the Valley Due to the beauty of the valley views and
the beautiful mountains, Ziarat is considered one of the historical and
memorable tourist destinations in Pakistan. Most of the tourists visit this
beautiful city during the summer holidays. It is the most extensive mountain
range in Balochistan Ziarat city is one of the most beautiful cities in
Pakistan and the northern regions of Pakistan are rich in natural beauty.
Pilgrimage is also an example of beauty. It is surrounded by juniper forests
and high peaks and mountain ranges. And is a paradise for hiking enthusiasts.
Green meadows, pine trees, and gardens all over the valley add to its charm.
The weather of the valley is pleasant throughout the year and
you can visit it in any season but between November to March, the valley is
covered with snow which presents quite an amazing sight, especially the
tourists from the warmer regions come here and enjoy the magnificent views of
the snowfall.
Ziarat is also famous because the great leader and founder
of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, spent his last days here.
QUID E AZAM RESIDENCY ZIARAT
Quaid-e-Azam's residence is where the great leader spent the
last two months and ten days of his life, apart from the busy routine he used
to come here to spend quality time. The residence of Quaid-e-Azam is a memorable
historical place the hills here are surrounded by lush trees. The
administration here has preserved traces of their lifestyle as monuments where
tourists come to witness their luxurious lifestyle.
ZIARAT JUNIPER FOREST
This forest, containing the oldest trees in the world, covers an
area of 250,000 acres it is the largest juniper forest in Pakistan and the
second largest forest in the world.
It is home to many species of wild animals, including the
markhor and the black bear Forest ecosystems are invaluable for the
preservation of biological life. Hence, these sites are excellent for tourists
for hiking, trekking, and picnicking.
DUMERAH WATERFALL
This beautiful waterfall is located at a distance of 13 km from
Ziarat on Kharwari Baba Road but it takes an hour to reach this beautiful
waterfall, mainly because of the curvy and steep road that passes through Baba
Kharwari's shrine and thick juniper forests on the way to reach the 5-feet
Domira Falls, there is a view of the beautiful golden waters of the river.
PROSPECT POINT (zero point)
Zero Point is a beautiful valley in the hills located at a
distance of 6 km from Ziarat. The highest peak of these hills is 3487 meters
high and this peak is called Khilafat.
It is easily accessible by road, but tourists visit Prospect Point to get a closer look at the valley's natural beauty and wilderness. Upon arrival, the tourists get to see the beautiful and mesmerizing views of the magnificent Koshki valley from the height of 2713 feet.
CHUTAIR VALLEY
Chuttair Valley is a beautiful and must-see tourist destination located at a distance of 13 km from Ziarat In just 30 minutes, you can reach this magnificent valley and enjoy the beautiful views of nature The valley has a large number of grassy picnic areas, and the area has rough and metal huts made from the bark of juniper trees that the local people live in there is also a rest house for a further stay.
Another attraction near this valley is chutair tangi it is
given the name Tangi because the mountains begin to create narrowness as soon
as you enter this place. After a 5-minute walk, the mountains begin to form a
gorge where the water flows between two large rocks and surrounds it.
