It’s very important to make sure that when traveling abroad
you have all of the necessities that you need to ensure your safety and
happiness. In today’s day and age, it’s especially important to make sure that
you are keeping yourself secure while also having an awesome time because there
are so many dangers out there in the world, especially when traveling in
foreign countries that you aren’t as familiar with. This article will tell you
what you need to know to make sure that your trip is safe and fun!
Europe
If you're feeling adventurous and want to explore something
new, the continent of Europe is calling your name. Once a popular vacation
destination for Americans, Europe is not as easy to get to as it once was.
That's because it shares borders with other countries that are less than
welcoming. With terrorism being an all-too-present threat and an ever-growing
issue in Western society, security has tightened considerably in Europe as
well. However, if you want to take advantage of this opportunity to see what's
happening over there before everyone else does, now is the time. Getting a
passport or updating your passport may be necessary depending on when your last
one expired. Apply early so that you have enough time to deal with any issues
that might arise (passport processing times vary by country). You should also
check out where the State Department recommends Americans stay away from before
making any plans. As always, make sure to stay up-to-date on events happening
around the world by following us on Twitter and Facebook!
There are many places that Americans can go on holiday to
escape from their hectic lives. Since 9/11 it has become more difficult for
people to enter some of these countries and because of that, one of the best
options for American travelers is to go somewhere closer such as Europe or
Asia. You may not have heard about traveling to Japan or South Korea but they
are some of the best places you can go. If you want a culture shock in addition
to just getting away, then this is perfect. It's an excellent opportunity to
learn how other cultures live while also being able to enjoy your vacation. The
food is delicious and there are tons of things to do. I've been lucky enough to
visit Tokyo and Seoul multiple times and I would recommend both!
If you're looking for something a little less expensive,
Thailand might be the place for you. It has all the attractions that other
Asian countries offer at even cheaper prices! Plus there's tons of great food
too.
1. The country of Kenya is considered one of the most
bio-diverse places on earth and a perfect place for animal lovers.
2. In South Africa, see what it was like to live during
apartheid with tours that visit historic townships where blacks were segregated
by the country's former white rulers.
3. Uganda offers lush
rainforests in the Western Region and game reserves in the East; Zimbabwe
features Victoria Falls, while Rwanda has mountains, lakes, and volcanoes.
4. Tanzania also offers an interesting mix of landscapes as well as diverse wildlife; take safaris in Serengeti National Park or climb Mount Kilimanjaro for unbeatable views from its 19,340-foot summit.
United States
With recent events happening around the world, there is a
heightened level of terror and uncertainty. As we prepare to protect our
borders, many citizens are left wondering whether or not they will be able to
see all the world's wonders before they pass on. Fear not, while it is hard to
say if current events will change any time soon, in the meantime, you should
still be able to travel internationally. All that has been canceled for now is
the Trump administration's proposed restrictions on visas from certain
countries, including Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and Yemen. Keep in mind
that other places have been declared off-limits as well because of safety
issues such as Mali and Syria. For those who want to visit Asia, there are
plenty of safe options including Indonesia and Japan.
Australia is a fantastic destination for Americans and Brits
alike, with stunning landscapes and an abundance of fun activities. Great
Barrier Reef, Uluru, and Sydney Opera House are all examples of must-see
attractions for adventurous travelers. Over 20 million people are living in
Australia's urban areas, which means that although you're in a part of the
world that feels remote, it's not far from any other major city. For example,
Melbourne is only 17 hours by air from LAX. As Australians are famous for their
hospitality, there are many options to meet up with locals on your travels,
whether it be through organized tours or just through chance encounters. And
there’s always plenty to do: visit the vast wine regions in Yarra Valley or
Barossa Valley or go surfing on Bondi Beach!
